KGVK is working hand in hand with community partners, government and non- government agencies to address the issues of resource depletion in rural Jharkhand.
Considering the 5 Js, Jal (water), Janwar (animals), Jameen (land), Jangal (Forest) and Jan (Human), KGVK has developed a framework to priorities issues and addresses them in an effective manner employing traditional knowledge, local insights and technological interventions.

Irrigation potential were also improved under the project ‘Community Development in Ranchi’ funded by Austrian Development Agency (ADA), Intervention in Decentralized Water Resource Development funded by Sir Ratan Tata Trust (SRTT) and ‘Holistic Rural Development Programme’ funded by HDFC Bank Ltd.
