KGVK, a social enterprise for inclusive growth, has a hybrid model that combines proven business principles to address development challenges through its integrated model of Total Village Management (TVM). KGVK directly operates in six districts of Jharkhand.

KGVK's social venture arm, KGVK Social Enterprises Limited promotes, incubates and supports formation of new social enterprises, along with ongoing management services support. At present, it promotes two enterprises – KGVK Rural Enterprises in the area of rural employment and last mile services, and KGVK Agro in providing market linkage and development of low-cost tools targeted at small farmers. At least two other businesses are under incubation. This convergent model provides a unique ecosystem to bring together new ideas, high quality talent, experienced grassroots practitioners, cross-learning opportunities, access to shared resources, bottom-up innovation opportunities, thus fostering sustainable entrepreneurship with potential for large scale social impact.

Some of KGVK's past and present partners include the Government of Jharkhand, agencies of the Govt. of India, NABARD, Sri Ratan Tata Trust, Axis Bank Foundation, IFC Washington, Som Datt Foundation, India-Canada Environment Facility, and Austrian Development Agency.
